Advocate and Certified Tax Specialist Lawyer

After a bank apprenticeship at the Deutsche Bank in Solingen and his further graduation as a certified banker in 1989 Henning Haarhaus studied law at the universities of Passau and Berlin (Humboldt University) where he also took his Juridical State Exams.

During his judicial traineeship he worked in an international law firm in Seoul/ Korea, the banking supervisory boards of Berlin and of the Federal Republic, the White Collar Crime Department of the Berlin Public Prosectution Office and the Federal Consumer Protection Board.

He started his career as a lawyer at the Dresden branch of a well reputed German tax consulting and law firm where he worked in the legal department for two years. His clientele was made up of businesses of all kinds, ranging from craft producers, construction firms and commercial businesses to corperatons operating in the micro chip and the opitical industry. Following his traning as a generalist he drafted contracts but also represented clients at court.

After founding his own law offices in 2004 Henning Haarhaus has devoted himself to the private client work ranging from estate planning to contentious inheritance matters. Besides tax law he focuses his professional training activities on succession law. In 2008, he published a book on the legal and financial aspects of holding and investing capital abroad. In 2005, he had teaching appointments at a AUS and a postgraduate college in real estate law.

In 2007 Henning Haarhaus was awarded the title by the Berlin Law Society „Certified Tax Specialist Lawyer“.

Henning Haarhaus is fully proficient in English and has a limited proficiency in French.
